My shortest post ever. It’s critical to know where your link love is coming from. And you should understand that Google Plus does work.

But notice, they are not reporting Google+ links for some reason. Don’t be fooled if G+ isn’t showing up in your metrics. Just keep looking. GA still seems to be the most comprehensive stats package.

Know your stats. What’s trending today may not have even shown up on your stats window yesterday. Here’s my one page infographic on understanding the analytics microscope. The tools you use to look at your traffic DO affect your numbers. So be aware and use many sampling tools.
