But nothing, in this economy, or political climate, or "social media hyped" economy is actually driving business. And my guess is, I'm not the only one struggling to scrape up even the smallest glimmer of a lead.
I almost signed up this Friday night with the offer for a free pint of beer at a local Irish pub. But even that, after I downloaded the app, I balked. Why do I want to do this? To give the bar some additional demographics? To give my email to a marketing campaign from them or other FourSquare-empowered businesses?
Simply put, the user would like to continue down the path of the pinboard and not have to return to the masterboard over and over. It is our hope that Pinterest will consider our solution. And of course we are going to make a Pinboard of it.
